Bucket List #14: DONE!

Lol well sort of. My friend and I recorded a song for a religion project, but hey, we covered a song so I guess that counts.

Check out the Bucket List on my blog to read about my boring life lol

I think this is one of those things that are really highly unlikely for me to actually check off my bucket list lol, but if I ever had the opportunity to stay in one of the exquisite rooms at the Burj Al Arab, even for one night, I’d do it.
But considering that the cheapest rooms run at at least a few hundred dollars a night, I think the most luxurious room I’ll be able to stay in for now is at the Motel across town.

Wooh, I haven’t updated this thing in a while (not like anyone really reads these posts anyways lol).
I’ve always enjoyed travelling, even those long plane rides that go along with it. (Who doesn’t love airplane food?) I like venturing off into those secluded areas where there are very few tourists and discover hidden alcoves. I love tasting different foods and immersing myself in new cultures, and maybe even learning a phrase or two in the local languages.
Sigh, if only travelling didn’t cost a dime.

Bucket List #13. Sigh.

Lol scroll past this one. (I wish I knew how to do those readme posts)

SO I found out that my grandpa’s basically dying in the Philippines and I obviously need to visit him one last time before he departs. The thing is I’m supposed to be playing piano for my teacher’s wedding and god it’s such an honor that she chose me to play. And now I’m going to burn in the pits of hell because I should be worrying about my grandpa more than my wedding commitment.

AND NOW this other Asian kid is going to play for the wedding and he’s pretty cocky. I don’t want a cocky Asian to play because he’ll ruin the mood. Bitch can’t play Debussy without completely wrecking the delicate notes, but anyways, at least I get to visit my grandpa and say my good-byes (wooh bucket list #13- gonna be finished, but I really shouldn’t be saying wooh cause this is kinda serious)

But we’re also leaving for Philippines AGAIN at Christmas so I’ll be missing 2 months of school in total. And I come back like 3 days before my midterms and fuck why do things have to be so complicated.

I’ve always wanted to do this. I heard they also called them “Wish Lanterns” where you’d make a wish before you’d release it into the air.
*I wish I had friends*

Ha, you thought I forgot about my bucket list, didn’t you?
The only other time I’ve had a leaf fight was in the 4th grade. My friends and I gathered all the leaves from the school field and made the world’s largest pile of leaves. I think almost every other kid in the playground joined in on the fun. In the end, we all had an enormous leaf fight, but the supervisors got angry because I smoked a kid in the face really hard with leaves and stuffed the back of his shirt…Apparently I’m not supposed to do that.
*Sigh* If only I had friends who would have a leaf fight with me.
Autumn is my favourite season, too. Hot chocolate with marshmallows, multi-coloured leaves, and the sound of geese flying south; it’s like heaven for me.

Okay before you say anything, I don’t want to make a CD to try and be famous or anything (yeah like I’m ever going to be famous lol. Let’s be realistic here).
I wanted to record a CD of some of my favourite songs and send them to my grandpa. I sent him a CD a really long time ago, but apparently he still listens to it everyday, which to me is amazingly thoughtful. But how on Earth did he manage listen daily to my mediocre piano playing from like 3 years ago?
I just hope he gets this new CD before he…you know…departs. Well at least he’s feeling a little better. The tumor is slowly disappearing.
Don’t worry grandpa, another CD is coming your way.

Bucket List #29 Done!

…I think. It’s not really a vlog…more like random videos of my little rants and awkward moments in life that I find funny.
Well no one’s going to watch them anyways so I’m really not aiming for good quality material.
I know, my life is incredibly exciting.

Okay, I’ve been trying to get this one done for a while but every time I look at my video, I end up deleting it because I’m just so awkward. And I don’t have any fancy editing software.
I’m still trying to get that cover done but I guess I have to wait a while until I can actually sing like someone who doesn’t sound like a dying whale.

I want to build a giant customized chess set and play giant chess by myself outside because that’s what awesome people do lol. While I’m at it, I should make giant checker pieces too. Then again, I’m not really good at sculpting…nor should I be trusted with sharp carving tools…

Unfortunately, this book is extremely hard to find where I live. I’m not sure if there are any English versions of the book. As far as I know, the only copies out there are in Japanese.
So basically, Nami No Tou is a novel about two lovers who end up committing suicide together in a famous forest called Aokigahara. This forest is located at the bottom of Mt.Fuji, and it’s a famous spot where people commit suicide. (It must be creepy walking there alone…). I don’t know, it seems like an interesting book to read.
There’s this other book called Battle Royale (you guys might have already heard of this. I think a movie was made on this book too). It’s about a group of grade 9 Japanese students that are sent to an island and they basically have to kill each other until one remains. If they break any of the “rules” on the island, their heads get blown off from the permanent collar that they have to wear. If there is no winner after 3 days, then they ALL get their heads blown off. I guess it’s kinda like the hunger games…but with Asians haha. That book seems interesting too.

Haha here’s a really corny one.
I wonder how expensive that would be to send flowers to someone every week for an entire year…of course, I need to actually find someone first. Until then, I’ll just eat chocolates in my room by myself like there’s no tomorrow.
